Lost account access

As a part of its privacy policy, NoBleme will protect your anonymity as much as possible. This means that you will never be sent any emails that could be used to link you to your identity on the website, or asking you to provide your password. On top of that, automated password recovery systems can be used in a few nefarious ways that we would rather not have to deal with. With this context in mind, NoBleme decided to not implement an automated account recovery process.

If you have lost access to your account (forgotten username, forgotten password, or otherwise), the only way to recover that access is to go on NoBleme's NoBleme's IRC chat server and ask for a website administrator to manually reset your account's password. No need to worry about identity usurpation, there is a strict process in place that will allow the administrator to verify your identity before doing the resetting.

Copy and paste

copypasta.jpg
The word copypasta appeared in 2006[1], as a way to give a name to uninteresting messages which were getting spammed all over some websites.

It is a portmanteau made from the combination of "copy/paste" and "pasta"[2], used to qualify text snippets which get copied and pasted in conversations. It is unknown why the word "pasta" was chosen.

Most copypasta begin their lives as legitimate messages, which are so silly, so bad, or so good, that they get repeated by others out of context, and eventually turn into memes.

Copypasta tend to be inside jokes, making them quite confusing to newcomers unaware that they are reading out of context copied and pasted text.

On the various types of copypasta

Just like pasta, there are many varieties of copypasta.

The most common the ones used to mock certain types of people, such as the navy seal copypasta, the high IQ copypasta, or they targeted gamers.

Others such as Bel-air or shittymorph are used by trolls to subvert a reader's expectations by tricking them into thinking they were reading something actually interesting.

A more outlandish variation is emojipasta, copypasta with added emoji sauce in order to make it properly indegistible.

There are a few more types of copypasta, including absurdist pasta such as tendies stories or scary pasta such as creepypasta.

You can find a list of more or less interesting copypasta in the copypasta category of this compendium.
