As a part of its privacy policy, NoBleme will protect your anonymity as much as possible. This means that you will never be sent any emails that could be used to link you to your identity on the website, or asking you to provide your password. On top of that, automated password recovery systems can be used in a few nefarious ways that we would rather not have to deal with. With this context in mind, NoBleme decided to not implement an automated account recovery process.
If you have lost access to your account (forgotten username, forgotten password, or otherwise), the only way to recover that access is to go on NoBleme's NoBleme's IRC chat server and ask for a website administrator to manually reset your account's password. No need to worry about identity usurpation, there is a strict process in place that will allow the administrator to verify your identity before doing the resetting.
While our IRC chat server is our main real time chat solution, and the place where most of our conversations happen, we have a few reasons to also use Discord as a secondary solution:
Similarly to our IRC server, NoBleme's website activity has been integrated on NoBleme's Discord's server: many elements of the recent activity will be automatically shared on Discord, thus allowing you to keep track of what is happening on the website without needing to visit it too often.
While Discord has many advantages over IRC, we choose to keep IRC as our main real time chat platform for reasons detailed here, and would like to remind you that Discord is a privately owned platform: they are free to use your personal data and chat history as they wish. Even though Discord is appreciated by many regular NoBleme users, making it our primary chat platform would go against our stance on personal data.
Be aware that conversations regarding computer science, programming, and any other related topics should be kept away from our Discord server, please keep them on the #dev IRC channel instead. These conversations tend to take over public spaces, and exclude many people from taking part, which we would like to avoid on Discord. Besides, we expect people with a technical inclination to be able to setup and use an IRC client.
You can join NoBleme's Discord server by clicking this link or by using the Discord widget below. There is no need to register a Discord account to use NoBleme's Discord server, but you might have a better experience with the platform if you do register one.
